Beautiful, fucking beautiful. I especially LOVE the last one of the two ladies. What kind of brush pen is that? I must know!

You do a really good job at combining thin pen and fat marker. I usually overwork my drawings when I try that.

These are brilliant. Love the girl with the bow in her hair.

Ken--Thank you! I really love the illustrations you've been posting lately.

Januel--Thanks so much!! I used the Pentel Pocket Brush pen.

Ryan--Thanks!! I'm still playing around with the technique.

Justin--Thank you!

Erik--Thank you Erik!

Jez--Thanks! Used the pentel pocket brush for these. There are a lot of awesome Japanese pens out there that are great for sketching with!

Davin--thanks!! Saw your pics from the last sketch crawl and wish I could have made it. See you at the next one for sure!

Ted--Thanks! I actually think of myself as more of a sock and legwarmer artist.

Everett--Thank you!! Speaking of brush pens, those are some awesome figure drawings on your blog :)

Chris--Thanks! Saw your LA sketches; very nice work.

Terry--Thank you!! I really, really love your sketchbook stuff! Totally inspiring.

These are some strong cafe drawings! I like the quiet, early morning mood of the second drawing where the striped shirt costumer is adding sugar. It looks simple, but very nice touch.

Are you using a special ink marker to get those grainy ink effects?
